A BLS (Basic Life Support) EMS bag, also known as a jump bag, is a container that holds equipment to help mitigate the effects of delayed reactions in emergency situations. BLS bags can include items such as:
PPE: Gloves, mask, and eye protection
Trauma supplies: Small pocket mask, NPA, OPA, trauma scissors, tourniquets, chest decompression kit, trauma dressings, and hemostatic dressings
Other equipment: Oxygen compartment with quick release tie-downs to secure a cylinder, and high density plastic reinforced corners to prevent wear and tear
