South Park BV78 Butterfly Valve with NST Threads and Lever Handle
Commonly used as an intake valve for fire apparatus, this butterfly valve has aluminum swivel and flanges with a hard coat finish.
FEATURES:
- The handle is chrome plated with a comfort grip.
- Please note that these are NST (commonly used in the fire service) threads.
- The female side is rocker lug aluminum swivel.
- The female connection is for the truckside with the male connection facing out.
- All Valve bodies are 5" except for the valves with 6" Female connections and they are 6"
- Aluminum valve body with stainless steel stem, EPDM seat, bubble tight shutoff up to 200 psi and vacuum rating of 29.9 in. mercury; valves have tested up to five times pressure rating without bursting.
- Furnished with ¾ in. push-pull drain valve.
- Valve should be un-capped, opened and allowed to dry completely after each use. Not recommended for use in a continuously wet application.
